hmm, so I guess that you cannot make a biped only attackable by one person then by adjusting team settings?
I am looking for a script that detects when a player kills another player or a biped. Search and the scripting bible both were not use. Does anyone know of this kind of script?
What I mean is something like
(script ..... (if (player kills unit ) true) then ... actions )
accepted the request, I will tell you on there, it's easier to do it that way.
I am looking for someone with some knowledge on rigging bipeds and who is willing to help me get one rigged. I have the model ready, I tried to do it but it would not work so any help would be appreciated. If you want to help just PM me or add me on xfire and I can send you the model.

for the seperate BSP's you will need to seperately compile each one into a .scenario then place a trigger volume in each place you want the BSP to switch to the next one and use the script below to activate the switching.
(script startup bsp_switch (begin (sleep_until (volume_test_objects "trigger volume" (players)) 15) (switch_bsp "bsp #") ) )
then you would edit the SP pause menu to include a day/night button with the switch_bsp script
That actually can work in single player too if you use the SP pause menu.
Basically to get night and day you make 2 BSP's, 1 with your day sky and one with your night sky and compile both. Then the script to switch between them is (switch_bsp #). The # will be 0 for the first BSP and 1 for the second one.

when there are multiple BSPs in the map, yes the day/night buttons do indeed work otherwise they are there for show.

got them working now to get to get the command list set up, thanks for the help
had the wraith pilots added and wrote out a command list then as soon as I hit new instance to make a 2nd encounter it crashed

Can anyone explain how I would go about making a widget in the pause menu that activates a script to do something like spawn an object. I mean you pause the game and get a button that says Spawn in the pause menu then you click it and get a list of things you can spawn and the buttons spawn the object. I searched for a tutorial but did not find any.
I haven't played it actually. and a bit of a problem with the ring, there are just 4 cannot update edges on it in tool and I have tried to fix it but nothing is working, so I am just going to keep trying to get it to work. That I can do. I am working on a race way based in space. I am calling it The Space Race right now. Its going to be a race track that is both open and has soem tunnels. If I am able to find good mongoose tags I am going to make it a mongoose track, or if not a warthog track. I also modeled out a check point ring that I will use for the race game type which I have a quick render of. Its supposed to be a checkered ring, sort of like a checkered flag.
Problem with that is, I would love to show some of the things I have made, but when I quit mapping for that time I wiped everything out, so I have none of my old work. I am working on some new things to show though
Its been quite a long time since I have posted anything, february I think it was. Well anyway, I decided to get back into map making and am wondering if some mapping team would have any use for me. I still have 3ds and gmax. If someone would want me to help them with anything drop me a line here or on xfire.
