It worked normally, but then i got SP AI fusion icefields and it died. i have only successfully run it once since then, and that was when i reinstalled haloCE because of major errors. it hasnt worked since then

I can't really help, because SP AI Fusion didn't even work for me (maybe I typed the wrong code? Who knows?), but I doubt that the map is a problem, because I experimented with the fusion script from Kirby's script package, and devcode still works fine.

I know the map isn't the problem, because I've deleted the map and reinstalled halo at least 3 times.

just an fyi, when you reference something in a script, you need "" if there are spaces in the name for example map_name biohalo map_name "skillet racing"
this same concept is also applied to scripts. im not sure if this is your problem, but its a piece of useful information nonetheless

Yeah I know, but the map is not the problem, my problem is devmode.

what it does does it just crash halo? so u have to restart? Edited by mastur cheef on Jan 13, 2009 at 10:01 AM It just gives me a gathering exception error before I get to the mainscreen and black doom that is exactly what my shortcut looks like. I have " -console -devmode" minus the quotes.

I do not think you are understanding me. When I try to run halo custom edition with the -devmode command line argument, the game crashes with a gathering exception error before I can get to the main screen. Also I am NOt looking for help on how to run the map. I know how to run maps in devmode. I am looking for a solution to the devmode crashing problem. Right click on your start up icon and select properties then copy and paste the "target:" and "start in:" fields here.
