2 questions. How would I make a man-cannon? I know it has something to do with damage effects. Also, how would I script in the anti-aimbot script?

1. you place a node where you want the thrust to be coming from, and then use that node in one of the sections in the device_machine tag. I think.

2. Do you already have the code?

I'm using this base: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3334
and I would like to put a man-cannon there.

And no, I don't have the code.

you will have to create a man cannon model. It could just be a node for the damage effect, and thats it. When you have the base ingame, you need to create a device_machine for the mancannon, placing a damage_effect on the node. Put the device machine in the right place. Ta dah!

That brings me to my next question. How exactly would I do that?

I don't really want to explain the specifics, so go search around for a tutorial. I believe there is a scenery making tutorial if you don't know how to export from model to halo. Play around with guerilla. Find out how damage_effects work on other models. Try fooling around with the bulldog tags, cause they use a damage_effect to do a wheelie. After a while you will have an epiphany. Congrats.

I know how to make scenery, but how do you place a node or whatever it's called on it?

place a sphere, and then give it a meaningful name. I cant remember which needs a pound sign (#) in front of it, a marker or a node...

Thanks.

Does anyone have the Anti-Botting Script?
