How do I take two objects in 3ds and merge them as one?

id use attach, and then vertex weld or create face

There's a way to "fuse" them together with boolean compound objects. Can't explain it thogh, because i don't exactly know how it works iether, but it results in atomaticly attaching 2 objects, finding where they intersect, and fusing them together.

read my topic, I've asked about this before as well, read the part where bobbysoon is, err, the text that bobbysoon typed.

In my topic, they also said you dont have to merge, just link both objects to frame, and yes that works.
