Is there a good tutorial on putting bitmaps on halo ce. I have alot of images I would like to put on halo ce.

Put them in a folder in your data folder in your Halo CE directory, (assuming you installed HEK). If you haven't, do it now.

Then, in tool, type tool bitmaps data\

EG.

Your bitmaps are in data\bitmaps.

Your command would be

Tool bitmaps data\bitmaps

Then, you have tags\bitmaps. Inside will be .bitmap files. Create a .shader_model or .shader_environment in guerilla. Scroll down to base map and set it to one of your bitmaps. Save as blahblahblah.shader_environment/model.

Then, open the gbxmodel of whatever thing you want to edit the skin of. Scroll all the way down, and then change the directory of the shader to yours.

Compile a map, and test ingame.

I'm gonna bet you didn't understand what I just said.

dont forget to save the image as a tif.

And have it as a power of 2, Eg, 256x256 or 512x512

I got every thing but Its hard to make it into 256x256 and 512x512

No I was uesing corel paint shop pro But I got I now Thanks.
