while i extracted from campign, i found a charctar called "engineer". the problem is that i never saw it nor fighted it. can someone help me?

oh ok. i can understand why though. 1 shot= dead. not even a good dieing animation.. just drop to the ground while they look like they are stunned.

Not really. They use to leak gas and blood when you shot them, but thsoe effects were never shipped with the game.

They weren't shipped, yet they are still there?

Engineers didn't really care about teams. Nobody was even sure if they knew about the Human-Covenant War or the Covenant Civil Wars.

They liked to take things apart, look at them, buiild things, and fix things. They were artificial creatures and floated using gas bags.

In Halo: First Strike one randomly repaired the shield generator on the chief's generator, thereafter killed by a marine, stating that it had seen the technology, and it couldn't be allowed to live.

One also later repaired the chief's needler while fighting in the ship's engine room.

a third, named "Lighter Than Some", invented a vehicle made from several farming machine parts on Harvest. This was given to the Humans as a gift to end the war, but it didn't work. This device later became the Brute Chopper.

One was observed in a city taken by covenant by the chief. He opened a car, pulled its engine apart and layed the parts out neatly, rebuilt it several ways, and then reconfigured it and put in back into the car.

Don't forget, they also killed that Grunt, when he found an explosive message, and accidently disarmed it. And the Engineers fixed it and gave it power, and it blew up!

Never read that. The engineers were only mentioned in the novels.
(I might be wrong, but I have never heard about them ingame.)

No. It was a guy driving a ship that got pissed off at the grunts stealing his fruits.

one thing wrong here though, is that lighter than some was making the choppers as a gift for Dabab to give to the chief brutes. i cant remember if it was a gift to end the covie civil war, but regardless, it was used in an attack against the humans on harvest

no there are not any maps that i know of that are out there with engineers.

There was an old Halo PC mod called Halo: Legendary with the Engineers implemented.
I did put an engineer biped in a map called BattleCanyon, last year.
