I was hoping people would just step up to the plate and help on their own but apparently they aren’t so I am going to try something different. I am looking for people to join the Halo Maps Screen Shot clan [HMSS] a clan dedicated to enlightening the world on the merits of the user created Halo CE maps.

Members of the clan get a “[HMSS]Screen Shot Guru” tag on your Halo Maps profile and all the bragging rights that go with it. There are dues to be paid for the privilege and they consist of:

• Once a week each member must upload screenshots of a particular map. There should be no less than 10 screenshots and no more than 35 showing off the map and the various aspects of it.
  


• Screenshots must be at least 800X600 pixels in size (larger is OK) and uploaded for review from the screen shot.
  


• Each map selected should not already have Screenshots, or must have less than 10 shots on file.
  


• Screenshots should be of high quality and not have HUD’s showing (use devmode). Exceptions can be made for in-game action screenshots.
  


• All Screenshots are subject to Halo Maps review and approval.
  

So what say you? It is one map a week for each member. Membership is open and new clan members will get their [HMSS]Screen Shot Guru tag after their first map screenshot upload.

To upload a screenshot just find the map you want then click on the Add New Screenshot link in the User Screenshots section of the page.

So you automaticly become a memeber when you upload?

Or do you have to sign up and then also upload? :o

Okay Dennis I am in on one condition can we still have other clans\mappingteams? I am uploading a screenshot in a minute.

IDC i want to be in the clan\screenshot team and i want the tag above my name :)

I am happy i am in the clan or atleast will be very soon!

wait will it have to replace your old one or can you please just make another picture box for the screenshot or like a emblem or something please if not i will still be in the clan though! :)

So, requirements to join is to upload 10 screenshots of 1 map at some point in time?

I would do it, if I had a computer with graphics worth looking at.

I uploaded some screenshots already. Still didnt get the clan tag.

no no no the requirements are that you upload one new screenshot now and then you get the clan tag but you have to upload atleast 10 each week!

If needed contact me and I'll gladly help but let others that are new to the community get a chance help out before the veterans.

No you have to declare yourself here in this thread first. That way everyone will know you made a commitment to it.

Do you mean a panorama. Sure that would be fine but remember each image is one screenshot even if it is composited.
You need to declare your membership first so I will know who is uploading as the clan or just uploading.
A day or two depending on my schedule. ALL screenshots have to be reviewed first.

I finished uploading 10 screenshots. And I want to join the clan. While waiting for decision, I'm going to go take more.

Let me think a minute.... I open the screenshot admin tool to review the screenshots and see 10 without the a username associated with them. I wonder who I should give credit for them to?

...I got your point.

Oh and I finished uploading 10 screenshots, five to SubZero, four to Anomaly, and one to H2 lockout final. Hope I can upload to multiple. If not, then back to the screenshot area...

Is the reason why it has to be a map with 10 or less screenshots is because you want people to load screenshots for maps that dont have screenshots and to display more of the certain map?

Dennis If we somehow.... get all most of the maps already made can we take more screenshots of them just for user refernce to see some of the detailed spots of the map such as like a map with some rooms could we fly inside the rooms and take some detailed screenshots and also i was wondering if you would like approve of me making a topic and naming it Maps with screenshots already done and have a list and a check if it is done and none if not and just keep adding maps to the list?

Okay I have you also i did not really go through every single little map in halomaps i used the screenshot list when you are uploading pictures for maps you have to select the map i am going by that.

Just finished adding 10 screenies to House2. I would like to join :D

I would join but I can't get atleast 10 screenshots per week. Although.. maybe I could. But I would have to make the exception of Christmas and things when im away from the computer.

The best thing to do is pick 1 map, then take 10 or more shots from that map. Not 5 from one then five from another. The size must be 800X600 or larger.

Okay, I want to join this, so I'll upload some screenshots later tonight.
