I finally think there is a way to hijack other people
and here is a list

1 Make an animation of the MC hijacking a vehicle in Gmax or 3DSmax or any other program.

2 put trigger volumes I mean a LOT of trigger volumes but don't make em to big all over the map,
and make em the size of two wart hos right by each other.

3 make a script for the trigger for when the player is right by an enemy vehicle it will start that
animation on the vehicle the script will kick the player out of the vehicle and wallah a successful

I am not good at scripting or animation but I think this might work
And if it dose work give me some credit for coming up with the idea

I don't know, but perhaps its possible if you have a seat on the warthog that you can only get in once the driver is in. Getting in is an animation of you pulling the driver out, where at that exact time they are forced out of the vehicle. Then you are forced into the driver seat.

It would probally take some scripting and would need the extra animations, but if done right it might work.

My guess would be something around scriping

Press E to enter vehicle
If > Player in Vehicle
Play Hijaking animation
Kick player our of vehicle
Have player enter vehicle

Good Idea, but I think if this works, it means the end of running people over with Warthogs.

1) animations are a duh.
2) waste since you can use invisible importal bipeds with a whole bunch of scripts to make portable volume trigger effects (so 2 bipeds act like 1 trigger volume, but its portable)
3) just make it so when all the bipeds see the person, place a fake vehicle there for half a second, and if they enter that, it unloads the vehicles driver in the fake and real, destroys the fake, and puts the person who came out of the fake into the real.

I acualy have my script half set up from a long time ago (if I still have it) ill work on it tomorow at school I guess.. (since I have nothing better to do here anyways) acualy, I dont remember if I just had the fake vehicle attach and detach constantly when there was a driver or not (cause that would even remove the fact of the fake bipeds, but would probly lag more since the constant attaching and detaching) but either way would work fine.

Thanks I thought of this idea not too long ago but I am glad that every one thinks this is
a good idea

Oh and the reason y i said that you might need lots of trigger volumes is that there might
be a chance that if there is a big trigger volume a blue guy on one side of the map and the
red guy in the hog is on the other side, so the blue might Jack the red from the safety of
his own base so thats y there should be small trigger volumes the size of two warthogs
so you have a 50 50 chance of jacking his hog just like halo 2 and 3

This is a good idea. It would be cool to see some cool H2 Features on Halo CE.

you didn't have a 50/50 chance of hijacking. It was a foolproof manuver if executed by the player correctly. If you could hit the button in time then you would hijack. If it wasn't 100%, the chances were better than 50/50.

I have a question. Did anyone agnowledge my idea?

1: Place a marker at point of boarding, as a seat
2: Have animations for entering that certain seat
3: Have a script, for that when the player enters that seat, it loads the boarder, and removes the driver
4: Boarding Complete.

Couldn't have said it better myself

but who is up for the challenge on making the script and animation (and if any of you make the script and animation pleas send me the files please cause this is my idea).

note: I would do the animation myself but I don't know how to compile it with tool from Gmax and I all ready made a ghost jacking animation in Gmax but I don't know how to put it in halo
