The tutorial does demonstrate some usefull techniques that could improve what he's done so far, but he should not start over. That would be a waste of time.

So, Thats the only way he will learn. When making anything for a game, You always produce top of the line stuff. Would you rather have halo with horribly modeled everything? Super hi-resolution skins that don't do anything that lag up the game? No you produce the best quality stuff. By starting over, He will gain better knowledge over what he is doing and increase his skills. Some times you have to accept failure (or in this case; low quality models) and start again.

1) I never claim my models to be the best.

2) if he ammends that rule to say that you should be banned since your on like your third alt now right?

3) What do you expect me to say? That his models are good, honestly stop getting so upset whenever you receive feedback that is not what you want to hear.

Well there is a rule that if you have nothing nice not to say it :P of course it didnt aply to me sense you went against it.
ive only been banned once just ive had more then one alt. and i was banned for something that i diddnt do i was posting in the topic when they were spaming and i was online so i got banned i think thats why he banned me if not he diddnt tell me why.

There is a difference between nothing nice to say, and giving educated criticism on models. I told him his models were bad, I explained why it was bad, hell I even recommended a tutorial to him, which is more than I usually do.

answer for #3 i dont care if people cirtisize or whatever you spell that, believe me people already have just your statement right away was not kind at all. praticly saying the models suck.

your crit is given from a much higher level than these guys should have to deal with at the moment. if your going to spend the time to tell them thier stuff sucks, spend to time to make a copy of the picture and paint on it whats wrong. then give a little description of whats wrong with what you painted on and tell them how they could fix it.

Criticism implies that there will be an analysis, not always favorable but always thoughtful, of the subject. Saying “That model is horrible” or “it sucks” is not criticism; It is a just an insult. Unless you are willing to offer a true and useful analysis that can be used by the other person to make improvements then it is just you being mean.
