Wherever I look, I have encountered no tutorials on editable poly for Gmax. Is it just that Gmax sucks? Or is there really a tutorial that my eye didn't catch? Please help me on this. Thanks :) -MoooseGuy

On gmax, you can continue to use editable mesh. Editable poly really isn't that much better (if better at all) in gmax.

Trust me, don't be using editable polly unless you don't care about the massive amount of open edges you'll get.
all polly does is exploits the use of over 4 verts in a face, makes things easier for modeling but sucks for collision in games.

There will always be Open Edges in te Editable Mesh if there are in Editable Poly. Editable Poly just wants you to fix the incorrectly attached parts.
