I was wondering (even though I can't do anything for Halo) that is it possible to make multiple melee animations for a single weapon? I'm not telling to the mapping teams to make multiple melee animations for weapons (if true), just wondering. Edited by Tuaha on Oct 11, 2008 at 10:37 PM

A rare sight, indeed.

Well, you can make 2, but you'd have to choose one. I bet Open Sauce would be able to do that though, it seems simple enough for it to add another slot for a melee. Radomizing it, not sure. But right now, no. You have to have 1 melee. The only thing that can have two animations is the reload: one for a non-empty clip, and one for an empty clip.

Primary and/or secondary could probably be made melee-ish. It'd be neat to do a bunch of kung-fu weapons, each with 3 attacks
