As a complete beginner in map making, i was wondering... what is the difference between maps made on 3ds max and gmax? which one is better and are there any advantages of using gmax or 3ds max? also is there a really good really really easy to follow Gmax tutorial in making maps, i have yayaps tutoral and thats good but some steps i can not follow. Nothing. Just the tools used. 3ds max has better support, which can be outweighed by using Blender for file conversion.

thanks, so if i use gmax its not going to change the look of the map in any way as if it was on 3ds max?
