Fp legs is impossible, though you can add it for like animations like side kick, but you cant do it like in halo 2 or halo 3 where if you look down, the legs are there. Halo lacks movable fp camera, learn your god damn info.

To explain it all:
If you pay attention to the FP arms and legs in Halo 2 and Halo 3, the arms follow the camera obviously so that they can hold the gun no matter where it points. However, the legs don't follow the camera, and are just fixed in a spot under the camera, being why you only see them when you look down.
However, in Halo 1, since there are no legs, the entire FP model is forced to move with the camera. So, you could in theory make legs beneath you, except, you would never be able to see them, because no matter where you look they will be moving with the camera in their original relative position (which is under wherever the camera's pointing and out of sight).
That's why people say it's impossible.

Didn't someone come up with the idea for single player maps to use a biped with animation attached to the bottom of the player so it would look like it was walking? I may be wrong...while im typing this im finding problems with this working

That's why people say it's impossible. It's possible, you just couldn't see it. Plus everyone else would see a hovering deformed bow-legged Spartan. Besides. Who needs legs? The only reason I like them on Halo 3 is for graphic/detail purposes, and so I can shoot my kneecap with a shotgun.
