What is the most recommended amount of polygons in a model for:

A level:

A weapon:

A vehicle:

A biped:

It'll provide a good basis for modelling.

should be in the HEK tutorial

all thats listed is levels

Multiplayer Levels:


10,000 polygons

50,000 triangles

also while i was there i found this

Player Dimensions (Generic 3ds Max Units)


(length(depth) x width x height)
Full Height (Standing): 18.418 x 29.828 x 70.127
Height (Ready Pose): 28.198 x 39.376 x 65.11
Crouched: 43.372 x 30.719 x 42.455

and some other things im not posting because it might waste space on this thread

but you should read the tutorial under "player statistics" and "level design guidelines"
