well... im makin a new map... and im not gonna protect it... the map's a custom layout which i sketched when i was bored... as for weps i already got a decent set which im trying to get as close i can as possible to perfection. im not doin the zelda mod anymore but i can help if it's needed... i just think you guys were right on my first thread about us needing more custom material. and well... im workin on it. i will be using weps similar to h3. maybe a custom sniper or something here and there.. but the map layout is custom. ill show renders as soon as i got this textured. it'll be a snow map. maybe ill add weather and environment sound or somethin like that..
if u wanna help add cellista... but plz dont spam me... last ppl that tried to help became more of a "load". anyways... ill be working over here. i was the one who was doing the zelda map for those who don't know. but i stopped cause that was really not what i wanted to do... please keep negative comments to urself.

srry if it's a bit crappy :\ im still fixing the textures. just wanted to show u guys the layout and an idea of what it'll look like. and ima make the ice more like a frozen waterfall (like CMT's) since my map will be called "icefalls" please tell me if that name is taken cause im not really sure.

also... ima add a red base onto the model. and it will be "inside" the mountains... the blue base will be separated into 3 buildings which will be on the right side of the map... i hope that makes it balanced... and if i can find a "fence" bitmap with the right alphas... ill try to add a fence to make it look cooler :) (im using premade tags) which im still trying to improve.

I like the layout but those textures need some fixin'.

Umm, that looks really......uhh........not good.

1. Where are the bases?
2. How big is it? I don't see a MC reference
3. Doesn't look like it has good gameplay so far
4. Fix the textures

Not trying to sound mean, but right now I see nothing great about it.

zelda maps are still goin. but some friends r workin on it. trust me it's good :) and... ill accept criticism... but "ew" isnt necessary

2. i forgot the mc reference... but it's 15,000 by 7,000, it should be decent size. i checked the size by placing a warthog on the ice and comparing it to the amount of space a hog takes on CMT.
3. i havent added scenery, vehis, or weps... :\ that's more like an "advanced render" :P
4. im on the textures right now

well i dont :p anyways... im still fixin this :o ive had to learn most things on my own. with the exception of a few things that biti and tutorials taught me.
im still considered noob\intermediate (more like lazy\intermediate) :)
(no fightin plz :) lets form a happy bunny community :p)

You can always check to see if a map name has been taken by using the search feature. Just type the full "name.map" into the search and check to see if anything is found. We typically name the zip archives the same as the map name as well.

Well, he models better than a lot of first tries at modeling a map, but has a long way to go.
Who knows? This could turn out to be a pretty good map.

hmm. about the structures i will add em. im just gettin the map layout done first. measuring so i dont make it too big or too small. i just modified textures... using unwrap which i just learned how to use T_T a small thing i was missing... er... and after this ima make the actual "waterfall" by changin locations of materials and movin some vertices here n there... after that i add bldns. check for bad textures... and then pop. the map----------------------
