cool and stan considering its called team death race then yes there will probably be race also make sure to give the navigator something fun side seat of warthog only for transportation make side seat something more important

The main race track in the movie will be hard to model, since getting references from a movie is hard.

Not if you watch the movie on the PC, and take pics while doing it. That's what Killer is going to do.

Well my idea for the navigator would be when you got into the passenger seat, you would have a larger fov than the driver so you could alert him of enemy cars, swords/sheilds/death heads and so on and so forth.

Speaking of swords and shields and death heads how do you plan on pulling those off?

Swords and shields are an idk for now, because from what i've heard they aren't possible. And death heads are. What i'm thinking of doing is; have a device with the skull head on it, then make a trigger volume over it, when you run over the trigger volume either an animated scenery or an animated device tag that pops out of the ground with a damage effect on it.

I'll look over it with Biti and a few others, and see what we can come up with.

No covie vehicles. Just the hog. I made the first hog because I wanted to keep something Halo related in it, besides the Cyborg biped. Then chains said he wanted to make one, so I let him. It stopped at chains. Nugga117 is modeling the actual Death Race vehicles from the movie, that's what we were originally just going to have, but I decided to make a hog.

I am talking to Biti about the Swords, Shields, and Death Skull right now. He said the Swords and Shields would work, but not very good over multi-player, and the Death Skull will work for sure.

Maybe I can open some sauce on this project. Not myself but see who can make some things possible, and contribute to the team by making such things said above possible.

Anyone willing to help with the opening of sauce with swords and shields, post it here, or msg me on Xfire: church897

Are you going to add the path that frank and the other guy use to escape at the end of the movie? I don't see how that would add to game play but it would be a pretty cool addition.

Idk how long it's going to be, that's all in Musicman's head. It's about Death Race, but through Halo Custom Edition. There will probably be differences, and new things added, but the basic thing is that it's about cars shooting the heck out of each other while racing for their lives.

It isn't going to be just like the actual movie, Musicman is adding and deleting things. There probably won't be a path, and the Dreadnought won't be released as a regular drivable vehicle, it can however be spawned by cheat_all_vehicles through Devmode. Also, I might disable some Dev functions, so in the map there won't be any cheating.

Upshift StrikeRacer and Death Race are very similar in ways.
Also maybe model a few cars off of it?

The maps are race style maps, loops, but while racing, you can also shoot other cars down with assorted weapons you can buy.

We are going to stick with whatever Musicman thinks up, and also, Team Death Race is the name, so...Death Race cars only. (with the exception of the Hog, because it's awesome)

It's the thought that counts. And we aren't really putting that much thought into it, just putting thought into how to use the vehicles.

You should make a one way bridge and then when the drivers are say head to head then they have to either ram them off road to the bridge or the fun way blow them up.

Hazard, wouldn't it be cooler if you included Death Race cars, AND custom cars? I had this cool monster van idea I wanted to model for you, but you're so intent on keeping the actual cars. :(
