well its nearly complete :) i just need to fix a few things here and there... (textures, collision, etc...) and add the weps n all. btw i decided ima use jahrain's old tags for the beta... and for the final ima use a composite bow a friend (BIODEATH Logis) made for me :) the final might have AI on the field to make it more zelda like :o

needs more high res textures, and add a death plane into the water, so when u jump in or something, u die on contact, or a second after u hit the water

BTW in kakario on that ledge.... shouldnt there be a "unfinished" building.... it was like that in Ocaraina.... (the good old days....)

anyways, yeah there was an unfinished building.... but in the future it was a shooting gallery

no because that would not be fun and two the reason why the textures are low res is because he/she wants it to be like oot and back then a graphics were'nt that good and poeple want it to look almost like oot because poeple's old N64 is probably busted so they cant play zelda oot anymore idk its just a thought but anyway he/she might make a zelda tp one later on if we ask very nicley lol

(seriously, i feel bad for you if you havent played this game yet)





i believe as a kid you could plant a bean somewhere at lake hylia, and if you went back as an adult you could ride it to the fishing hole. the reason for this is because before you beat the water temple boss, the lake is very low thus you cannot swim to the fishing hole. after you beat it though, the water goes back to normal. i may be wrong about the bean stalk... but there was SOMETHING that allowed you to get up there before you beat the temple. mb you could hookshot that scarecrow guy that comes up in those mysterious spots that navi freaks out over... regardless, fishing hole = yes

but i remember fishing at the fishing hole as an adult before beating the water temple.... im saying as a kid you could so something that allows you to get up there as an adult, but those damn beans get so expensive after youve bought a few of them, that its almost impossible to afford to activate all those hovering bean pads. also if you didnt know, if you catch a bug in a bottle and release the bugs on the soft bean soil, a gold skultula sometimes comes out (the ones you get the coins for killing)... just a random fact
also morpha is not hard if you hide in the corner of the room. nobody does that, and i never did it any other way.......

yeah i get what you mean. personally i found that electric monster you fight inside jabu jabu to be the most difficult. the last level you play as a kid. that fricking thing gave me nightmares

:o good idea that death barrier is... (seeing that stupid mc link cant swim :| Y DOES THE TUNIC HAVE TO WEIGH HALF A TON :P) but hmm i dunno i was gonna make a spawn location on fishing place exit :P no fishing spot yet lol. chill... i wanna release somethin fore school starts :) o well... no spawn near fishing.. itll be a decoration :\ and... water will be deadly... MWUAHAHA not entirely tho... just so that u cant go that low for security purposes. we dont want ppl drownin :P... btw i think map is ready.. just gonna run radiosity tomorrow... add the weps... n we're good to go. (remember this will be a beta) the final will have a composite bow ftw :) and... the master sword... fixed. and the enemies on field... er... stuff like that :P (i know somethin u dont :p)

o to the "unfinished building" i didnt put it cause ima put 2 boxes and the flag there... that's gonna be... the blue flag i think... the red will be near the zora domain pillars

ok to the he/she thing... ima he T_T lol happens alot... and to the grave owl... [sides the fact that ull find the grave a bit funny lookin (cause i couldnt find its textures on the extract...)] the grave is there... and no warp pads T_T (yet :P) maybe ill add 1... or 2... and make them "teleporters" ;)

Cool looking map, but I had a few questions. Is this map going to have the entirety of Hyrule Field, Kokiri Village, and that one Village next to Death Mountain (to late to remember that places name right now). On top of that, are they going to be to the same scale as in OoT, and if so is there a speedy way to move between areas?

the place will have lake hylia, kakariko, and hyrule field.... all connected as if 1 map. no teleporters in between... there arent teleporters yet... but i might make "warp pads" later which will act as teleporters to move faster tween maps... and the transport to do so right now are a bunch of horses (i wonder y i didnt say a bunch of eponas :o) ;)

We straightened everything out now. I'm helping him with his map.
I'm adding Zelda HUD, a more realistic hookshot, and a few other tags such as the H3 assault rifle, battle rifle and so on...

i couldn't have said it better my self
try adding a sling shot instead of a battle rifle and if you don't want to add a boomerang then you could add a auto crossbow instead of the assault rifle even though thats not in the game its still a good alternative to adding futuristic weapons to a midevil map

wait wesman??? arnt you the guy that was on the rpg servers all the time? (im dread!) but anyway getting back on topic, ya I agree I acualy dont like adding furutistic weapons to a map that is supposed to be medevil because that would make it less of a zelda feel to the maps

please dont put any halo weapons in hyrulefield please because that would completely ruin the zelda oot feel (lol) but please dont put any halo weapons

I agree with the other guys. There are plenty of weapons from OoT that you could add as opposed to actual Halo weapons. Also, do you have any plans to do some of the areas from Majora's Mask. I know I am opening Pandora's Box by saying this, but I honestly preferred Majora's Mask to OoT. So, I would love to see some of those areas as well.

Well there are already halo weapons scattered around like sniper and stuff

If u want i can take them all out

This is a test of the HUD.

It doesnt look too good since i spent 10 minutes on it, but I will make it better or at least fix the gap between the energy and hearts.

u should make it 18 hearts, like the game when u get all teh containers, then u make it so for every time a health bar goes down, it goes down by 2

for those that cant wait :) here's a link for an alternate dl site. http://files.filefront.com/hyrulerar/;11556929;/fileinfo.html although im not sure this'll be compatible with the one on halomaps... cause i modded somethin after the map was ready (i did delete after.. but im not sure if they'll be compatible again...) if that's the case... delete this and dl from halomaps when its up.
