Did they use scenario files like us?

I know they didn't use the HEK, but since the files are there, how did they do it?

They used a more advanced form of the HEK and 3ds max 5.

If you say so. What does this have to do with the HEK?

(Once again, referring to Officer Egg)
PS. Why does this keep happening?

It was madness! Blue lights flashed all around, the rat was closing in, he could hear the screams of the fish as they were sent on the rainbow trail to the fluffy bunny paradise! Madness!

I'm done.

So, we have come to a conclusion:

Bungie used 3ds max 5 along with a more advanced HEK than ours.

This explains a lot.

I'm pretty sure they periodically re-code their plug-ins to work with the latest version of 3ds Max so they can use it, unless any newer version doesn't have significant advantages over the older one in their eyes.

dont they use an advanced forge as their sapiens? also blitzkrieg is halo pc, then the ass exporter for halo 2, and probaly something else for halo 3. also we dont know if they use a guerilla. and they could have a whole new script coding so maybe they dont use notepad.

I think it is the same one. Just fixed up to have less bugs and more user friendly. Also some things locked and didn't give us all their tools.

When i said advanced HEK i was meaning one with all features unlocked. our HEK still lacks some of the things bungie's HEK could do. Example: compile recorded animations.

still amazing how they did everything with 3ds max 5.

Other than recorded animations, it's not needed. lots of stuff was ment to be used on their networks, and to be used with xbox devkits.
