Yes, to a modded Xbox, which isn't smart. But, you'd have to convert the maps so the header matches up with the XBox map versions.

lawl ^ And wouldn't you have to make a new engine for xbox due to the fact that Halo CE was made because of this. I just don't see how this would be possible.

Why would you want to move something to an XBox anyway? It's better on the PC.

who else gets this when playing halo 2 on the 360: a semi-transparent overlay of some random frame of a cutscene that sticks on the screen and gets in the way of everything

YES! I get that too! I thought it was my disc so I sold it.

I do, too.

THEN DONT GET A CRAPBOX!!!!!!! lol NEVER GET A CRAP BOX!!!! they r crap get a ps3 bill gates wants your money they even make you pay just to play online with all of those NEW games that just came out and they had to stop making poeple pay for it because poeple only signed up for the silver accounts

Bill Gates doesn't even work for Microsoft anymore. Oh, and if PS3 is so great, why is it the worst selling videogame system on the market?

There is a reason why the PS3 isnt selling much and its not for the reason you think. If you are smart enough, you can work out the 'master plan' which is actually pretty smart ;)
And no its not BS, work it out and you'll see

This debate will always occure. I'm a fan, and proud owner, of all the systems. They all have pros and cons. Such as:

Xbox 360:
Pros
• A huge selection of games with over 200 games to choose from.
• Xbox Live: Great online functionality, chat with friends, message each other
• Small tid bit sized games, and puzzle games offered via Xbox Live
• Backwards compatible to 400 some original Xbox games
• High definition games in 1080p, 1080i and 720p
• 3 year warranty
Cons
• Recurring fee for Xbox live every year, this cost should be included in the price of the games, we shouldn’t have to pay to play online
• Lack of rechargeable batteries included, this should be standard
• Lack of wireless Wi-Fi capability, have to purchase the wireless adapter for $100, what were they thinking? Nobody has Ethernet cables running to the entertainment den
• No Internet Browser, can’t buy one or download one, absolutely no option
• No old Xbox library games to download from Xbox Live
• High failure rate reported by Microsoft due to what is know as “Red Ring of Death”

Playstation 3:
Pros
• back catalog to over 1000 PS1 game titles
• back catalog to over 2000 PS2 game titles(80GB)
• Comes with rechargeable batteries for controllers
• plays blu-ray movies
• Approximately 160 PS3 games available
• Has Wi-Fi built into system
• Playstation Network(PSN) – Great online functionality, chat with friends, message each other; is free in contrast to Xbox 360’s annual fee
• Has Internet Browser; nice for surfing the web from the sofa
• Small tid-bit games can be downloaded from PSN
• High definition games in 1080p, 1080i and 720p
Cons
Lack HDMI cable, they should really bundle this with the system considering it plays hi-def movies
• Lack of headset, this should come standard as well
• Does not have as much games out as Xbox 360
• Lack of PS2 backward compatibility support for 40GB system

Nintendo Wii:
Pros
• Fun innovative motion sensing controls
• Wii comes bundled with Wii Sports
• Download classic NES/SNES games via the virtual console
• The Wii offers a decent Internet browser so you can surf the internet from the comfort of your couch
• Has Wi-fi built in so you can connect to the internet wirelessly
• Backward compatible to Gamecube games
Cons
• Lack of rechargeable batteries included or offered by Nintendo, they should at least offer official rechargeable batteries instead of third party vendors
• Lack of Hard-drive cause constant deleting of downloaded games, this is a definite issue with so many great games on the virtual console to download
• The Wii loses some of its appeal when not played with a group of people; yes when friends are not over, the Wii sits collecting dust
Hidden Costs
• You will find yourself quickly going through batteries, and will eventually have to buy rechargeable batteries.
• The Internet browser costs approximately $5 to download.
• With only a 512mb internal memory, you will have to get at least 1GB SD card or greater to take full advantage of all that the Wii offers through the downloads
• Considering how much of a social console the Wii is, it really is surprising Nintendo only bundles one controller, so purchasing at the minimum a second controller is a must.

Eventhough that was copied and pasted from a website I stand behind it all. Also just to add it in the Xbox 360 is actually making a Blu-ray player for it. Think about it.

No, Bill Gates no longer owns the entire Microsoft Franchise. He does not own the Xbox sector neither.

So wait, Bill Gates is the owner but he doesn't run the Franchise. That doesn't make that much sense to me.lol. Well, I suppose multi-billionaires get to do what they want after all.lol.

No, you're not getting the point. SPv2 on an Xbox would be illegal, because you're modding the Xbox. SPv2 on a computer/Halo CE is fine, because the point of CE is to make new maps and change things around.

Its Illegal. That would require replacing the whole campaign, which is called "Modding" which is hacking into the Xbox. You would also have to save the Whole game on your HD. If it is modded, you are capable of doing it. But its Illegal all around. Sorry to say it. But its the truth.
You really shouldn't be spouting this when you don't really understand the issue at hand. Legality has absolutely NOTHING to do with copyright or licensing issues. Copyright or licensing violations are not legal or illegal since there is no concept of legality in copyright law. Only criminal law concerns itself with legal or illegal actions. Copyright laws concern themselves with compensation. If you violate a copyright you can be sued for damages not sent to jail. The choice to take action is in the hands of the copyright holder in this case Bungie and Microsoft. They can choose to ignore any copyright violation they wish, and change their mind at any time. There is nothing illegal or legal about it.

even though im not in cmt, i got an idea how to get spv2 on xbox. Since Microsoft owns the halo franchise, CMT should try to persuade Microsoft to create a different version of halo 1 that has every CMT map (Fragment v2, Tensity, Snow Grove, Spv2, Spv1, etc.) and is Xbox live enabled.
would that be illegal?

There could be. The rule of thumb is: If you don't try to make money from it, don't cause the copyright owner to lose money from it or impune or hurt the reputation of the game then you will not be bothered. Like all rule of thimbs this could change at any moment the copyright holder decides.
