any ideas for my new map? should it be a single player map, or a multiplayer map that plays like one? It will feature the flood driving any vehicles, and useing any weapons(carrier forms, infection forms, and combat forms all apply to this). You will play as a infection form commanderXD. you will command waves of flood against hordes of grunts. This map must be large to support at least 100-200 ai. (they will be spread out for less lagging).Any ideas?

ok if it is larger than coldsnap, and you have details on low you can have at least 150. how many times should they spawn? any ideas?

yes it will be made. I will try my best to perfect it with no lag(that may be impossible).I just need to find out what is wrong with sapian and then I will start right away on making infection tags. about 150 ai will be used.Now i need a story for the map.

please shut up with the ai levels will you? the map will be a very large map and it will featrue checkpoints where the ai will be activeated. I am not retarted, I know what i am doing! most of the ai will be locked until you reach the checkpoint.

Halo can Max 10.000 Polys at a time if i remember rightly , it wont matter how huge the level is , if its more than 10.000 polys at one time on screen its gonna lag , so it wont work , most bipeds i ever put in a level myself was 80 and i got 14 fps , although that was on a really crap computer , and the map was gephyrophobia. If only I knew how to place AI, my tutorial was confusing and i think I messed up...the tutorial wasnt confusing, I just didnt understand.
My idea was to be an enforcer fighting all kinds of flood.

AI run on the client PC. Their status and position is not transmitted from the client to the server or between other clients. So when you place AI in a multiplayer map they will act differently and be in different places on each person's PC that are playing the map. AI do not sync meaning they do not act the same on the PC of all the people playing the map.
If you are making an AI map for just one person then they will work just fine. But if you want AI to be on the blue and red teams when two or more people play then they will not work properly and everyone will see the AI in different places.
There is nothing you can do to change that function.
