I'm confused.
I made my own base scenery lately. I've tried to make the collision but no matter what I cant seem to solve the open edges problem keeping it from importing. I've tried welding, remaking faces, etc.
any help?

Where are the open edges?
Did you use a Line to make the base?

1st select all verts and weld at 0.01. recompile and see if that works. if not then import the nameoflevel.wrl and locate the open edges then delete the surrounding faces and create new ones.

I did weld. Still didn't work. I used the "Select Open Edges" tool in Editable Mesh (45 OE) and I tried to delete them to see if it worked, but: Before I deleted  After I deleted

try instead of delete use backspace.

You might be able to Create a face over the blank edges.
