How do you bend Pillar's in 3ds max? Because if I go to "Bend" in the Modifier List, it bends it where the Pilllar is and not right in the middle of the pillar, it's a long box that I want to bend, and after I do that i need to smooth it into a bar.

Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanx

in pollygon select, select the correct pollys to bend and use the bend modifier.
then adjust the cutoffs, and other settings ie. xyz axis and force.

I don't totally understand the question, but if you think it's bending in the wrong place collapse the bend modifier and click on gizmo. move the point to the place you want your origin of the bend to be (it's in the middle by default i think.)
