my friend said that the Halo CE map "Chill" is being re-made by bungie to be put into halo3 and it will be free on the market place in the next map pack and it will be free because MLG(Major leuge gaming) is paying bungie to do it. They are re-scripting and re-graphicing it so its more halo3 like but weapons will remain in same spots etc. When i searched "Chill" on the site i found no such halo ce map and my friend is certain they are and he is always right about this stuff. He knows heaps when it comes to this stuff.
Just asking, anyone else heard of this and if it coming true? |

Um, what? Chill Out? That map? I don't think this is true, it might be Purple Reign, and it's not for free, Bungie already announced it will cost 800 MS Points.

Its the default halo 1 map Chillout, and yes its being remade for halo 3, named Cold Storage right now.

Avalanche was bigger than infinity , with completely different base interiors and grav lifts everywhere. Wasn't too much like sidewidner. I think the H1 version looks better so far anyway, liked the purple shiny theme, not the blue. And I liked chill out, as long as it wasn't with heavies. |

New and better pics in the Bungie weekly update. E: Looking at the pics, I noticed that the map is now forerunner I guess? But it still seems to have some Covenant style to it, but there's also flood stuff in it too. Very interesting. Edited by corndogman939 on Jun 21, 2008 at 03:08 PM |

Except those flood...I don't really like that. Then again, it's about time they put some flood stuff into a multiplayer level. It's always Human, Forerunner, and Covenant levels, the flood get nothing.
