Yeah for example say ddr speed is 400mhz well ddr2 400=400x2=800mhz and ddr3 400 is 400x3=1200mhz and it is that much better

I have a question about graphics cards. I can run SPV1, Z_Sanctuary, and Z_Coag all great and at 60 FPS. But, when I finally purchased H2V, I had to turn the detail down to medium. Whats up with that? And dioes that mean I can;t run SPV2 on full?

No it should be fine because I can't run H2V past medium. This is because 1 Vista likes resources and 2 H2V is poorly optimized

You'd have to turn on vertical sync and triple buffering...and decals has to be off. And why are these newer cards running halo worse? I can still get a tiny bit of tearing, and LOTS of lag on yoyorast only.

I'm finally upgrading my video card, from this crappy Intel chipset, to a 256 MB PCI card. I would get newer ones, but this computer only takes PCI

You going to fix that? My 8600gt 256mb gddr3 plays spv1 at 1680x1050 all high decals off at 60+ FPS, and wasn't it said earlier in the cmt thread that cmt spv2 will run the same/better?

Anyone know a high quality graphics card that still fits in the same kind of slot as a ATI RADEON 9200SE?

Lol. I have 8800 GTX SLI and it works perfect. Thats why I recomend it. :D

You sure you want to recommend an ancient 90nm card? When you can get the HD4850, which has more performance and is only 170$

Recommended Cards for spv2 60 fps and up
Intel:
DON'T I REPEAT DON'T EVEN TRY TO RUN SPV2 WITH THESE THINGS

I have nothing else so I'll let you know how much Frame rate a 1 gig + Intel chipset gives (My bet is 9~11) that aside if I had free picks anything with dedicated ram starting from 128 and up >_> (I'm not picky I just hate lag)
