Intel: DON'T I REPEAT DON'T EVEN TRY TO RUN SPV2 WITH THESE THINGS
Playing spv2 will cost you a mere 50-80 bucks for a stable frame rate but remember to make sure that you pair it with a good power supply at least 512mb of ram and a good CPU or you might have bottle necks with the high end cards. Edited by aklass on Jun 12, 2008 at 08:03 PM

i find that an nvidea ge force 7600 with 256 mb of vram runs halo nicely thats combined with 2 gigs of ram and 1.66 ghz duel cores (which is like 3.32 ghz in total) i run halo on something like 1200x 900 with everything on full with no problems at all.......... maybe thats why my computer broke :P

Well all my PC specs are above recommended except my graphics card but because it is intel I always get an average of 30 fps in multiplayer (with occasional spikes) and around 9 - 17 fps in CMT SPv2. Judging by my gfx card I say that I need a new one. I just checked with Best Buy and they said that my computer model could not upgrade because it apparently has no open ports. I now as you guys this. Why can't I simply just free a port by taking out my old graphics card and installing the new one in its place. For some reason the "Geek Squad" said I couldn't do it.

So the only graphic cards that need to disable decal (but otherwise run Halo at Full settings) is the Geforce 8 Series right?

Your cpu and ram should be enough but with your graphics card Im not so sure, you may have to run at 800x600 with low-medium settings but you can have decals.
