I'm sure you have heard of 'Ghosts' in the Halo games, and I don't mean the vehicles. I was playing on one of my modded maps, the parameters had console and devmode in it, but I still saw some WACKY stuff going on while I was playing. I got some pics:


First thing I saw was this. A Warthog gunning with NO one in it.


Proving no one else was in the match, I saw a SCORPION with NO one in it either.


The final one I took, flames coming out of seemingly nowhere. I have a feeling it was the flamethrower. I also got killed by the 'Ghost'...

Post your 'Ghost' sightings here, or explain what the hell is going on with all those pictures I posted.

I don't have any capture software, but I'll try and replicate this... I closed CE about 5 minutes ago. This actually happened before too on the default beaver creek.

the warthog and ghost glitch can be explained by 'remote controlling'; and yes its sometimes even possible to do as host; dunno how but ive seen it been done. As for client its relatively easy thou. Can also be explained by using the option to make the player go invisible while entering vehicles, or by changing the texture on MC to another thats invalid

"Ghosts" Sometimes happens in sapien when your adding vechiles too. For example, the warthog will start up for no apperent reson and youll hear its engine. Same with Tank and ghost. (Ghost is funny it hovers =D) And this is true. It happened to me when i modding a map *Cough* HelixCanyon*

You know, I am not surprised. But because of your cynical nature, you don't believe me. Ever see Halo 3 or Halo 2 ghosts? No? I'll let you in on something then: the ghosts don't stand there, they move. If they move, they have NO walking animation. In Halo 3, they aren't even there. They are invisible, and can create mayhem in Forge.

Whether or not you have experienced them or not, it remains the same - they exist, they cause trouble, and exhibit weird behaviors like the ones I have shown.

There are ghost players in CE, but I doubt these pics are legit.

"Ghosts" happen when the netcod glitches, i've seen it happen plenty of times before.
