hello people and halo fans I just got gmax and I need help getting started on making maps so can someone give me a link to a tutorial on how to get started? and also I need to know how to turn a gmax file into a halo ce map file. ok thanks

I don't understand why everyone comes and asks to make maps. There are plenty of other and better things you can do with the editing kit that are much easier and more apreciated.

is that 3ds max a legal copy? I thought 3ds max was $1,300? oh and also I do not have an xfire not yet at least.

alright just before I get xfire will 3ds max crash my computer heres my computer stats
1.6ghz - 896 mb of ram and amd turion64 64 x2 mobile. I do not want 3ds max crashing my computer. my bro has 3ds max and his compter sometimes crashed when using it. his computer is a super computer. |

i smell a lock coming
there is a learners version of Maya somewhere thats free, and i think maya exports to .3ds which gmax can use, so that is an alternative |
