I have tried Jackle's (don't understand it) and the Ma5c one in the directory here, but neither work right. Does anyone have a good, working H3 AR? When I load the tags in my map, it's just a normal AR with a H3 AR styled shooting and no H3 AR crosshair. =/

Why do you want one? Live with CE's. Want H3's so badly? Purchase Halo 3 and shut up.

Wow, that was a stupid remark. I have Halo3 and I play a lot. Don't be a -blam!- because you think you can. Anyways, is there a tutorial on HMT or a person who does reply with stupid remarks at least? Dennis? CMT?

Thank you. It isn't that I don't like the Halo AR, it is just I like the angle and junk of the Halo3 AR. There is a difference.lol.

I hate the halo 1 ar. I think it just lacks abality to kill. Plus there is just something fun about the h3 style hr, and it feels right.

I know d4no or some name similar made the skin for it. So if you give credit i would just say like a thanks to the maker of the h3 hr in (name the map)

I agree. Although I don't hate the Halo 1 assault rifle, it's somewhat useless because it's so inaccurate that it's only useful if you're really close to an enemy. The Halo 3 assault rifle, on the other hand, looks better and is much more accurate. Its shooting sound is also more satisfying even though it's a weaker sound for some reason.

Exactly, I think I am going to change the sound so it sounds better. Anyone think so?

the halo 1 ar is pretty much a joke anyhow, i hate how it's not even a true assault rifle. assault riles are supposed to be main weapons and the h3 style ones are. You can actually go on the hunt with one and kill someone.

True that, but I didn't like the one that was recommended earlier. The crosshairwasn't large enough to be close to the H3 one. Can anyone tell me how to use HMT to inject this stuff into my maps?

Actually, in my opinon the HALO 3 sound is rubish, I've posted on the Bungie.net fourms in favor of the old HALO 1 sound returning for HALO 3 and some other pepole there agree with me. It's all just a matter of opinon though.

Haha, I tried using an AR I ripped from amap that had a Halo3 one and my AR shoots PLASMA. I personally think it is amazing, so props to who made it!

I really just want a working one that doesn't malfunction or screw up. COuld someone please make a Halo3AR tag that is counted as a different weapon and not part of the original? =/

couldnt you just edit the ar tag to make it more accurate and have a smaller clip? seems simple enough; sure it doesnt look the same but it sounds like your more concerned about its abilities. Then just create a new crosshair and ammo display.

if you can get the crosshair bitmap from donut you'll be alright.unless u dont know how to use it!
and you can extract it off my floodgulch3.0 map coz i replaced ce ar with h3 one except the crosshair didnt work(no idea y!)but i cant remember if fg3.0 is protected or not and if anyone wants sumthing from the map im pretty sure i protected it but forgot to put a encryption key(whoops)so u can rip stuff off the map just let me know and u dont have to give credits but it would be nice

That is what I virtually did. I took the AR from the map that was linked earlier in this thread and Jackle's AR model to create an accurate AR, but it needs to be possibly darker color of grey, reload sounds, and a noise change.

H1 AR works fine in small maps. Try playing Desolate Keep. It works very well in that map at taking out shields, then switch to the pistol and finish them off.
