What is it supposed to be used for really? Is it just a knock off of Sapien?

it's a halo pc tool only. it allows people to mod halo pc and place objects like scenery and weapons. It's way more simple then Sapien, it's only for halo pc modding.

Its for people who do not have the required intelligence to use the HEK
Or apparently the arrogance either.

SparkEdit can't even open Halo CE maps, so your only proving how you like to criticize.

Anyways, yes, SparkEdit is for Halo PC map editing. It's the only Halo PC map editing program that actually displays the BSP and scenario items in three dimensions, as far as I know.

Plus... It beats sapien at scenery placing - Moving scenery up and down easily FTW!

Is there a tutorial for it? How do I rip stuff also?

****Sorry CMT, I need the Carbine crosshair. =/*****

JUST JOKING, that would be illegal without permission. XP

How do I make my own crosshairs too?

It's perfectly legal. Any map contents belong to Bungie/Microsoft.

If you want to rip it, search for the HEK+ on this website and download the most recent version of it.

Sadly though, all CMT content is protected. I strongly disagree with map protection, but let's not discuss this in this topic.

CMT denies anyway to reverse-engineer map protection, but believe me, it is possible, and yes it is legal. If you wanted a certain file you'd need to convert the map to HPC, then using HXE or something and HHT play around. No specifics, but you'll find it eventually.

You can do that in Sapien by unchecking the gravity thing in the tool window and checking all the active grab points or something like that.

Yes, but if you had asked I would have given it to you anyway.

Since when was this? Zteam has a map unprotector and I've seen it work. YOU don't have the ability or understanding to make your own however. And you can convert the header of a map to openit up with PC editing tools, and rip from tehre, but I don't think it will help you much with the cmt tags.

I can make a map protector, and don't think I can't because I am only 14. In fact, mine will be public. Don't believe me? Oh well.

There are public map protectors, and if you meant to say you can make an unprotector, you can't. GCT members have already told me how incompetant you are when it comes to modding in general. And yeah, I said members, as in more than one. For the love of god dude, grow up and act like every other person on this forum and just maybe, someone with half a brain cell will respect you.

1 GCT member? KaiZei? Yes I HARDLY think that one is going to make a difference.
