hey February is over people. shouldn't the contest be over? ah, who cares. I'm gonna work on my map later today after i sleep off 24 hours of no sleep running on mountain dew.

This map grew out of that contest and will not be rushed to compete against 1 or 2 maps and some boxes. But look foreward later today to see the progress.

i think ppl are complang about the cliffs becuase of the orange lights stops so quicly and dosent look right. move a copul vets back to make it look better

Well now that I have Kirbies Dynamic Sun. We had to edit the lightmaps on the map so we took away those glows. And now I have to make the bases glow dynamically. And the sun really makes Dano's textures look awsome. It makes the bumps look amazing. Well until I make the dynamic lights for the bases I will get a picture.

Those little 'puddles' of snow look out of place compared to the actual ground texture. Will those be fixed?

Yea the dynamic sun made them look weird because we edited the lightmaps. So I have to tweak them a little.

Storyline Description: After the destruction of the first Halo the remaining pieces started malfuntioning and showed odd characteristics, this being one of them.

Barkround story: One day Mr.Wolf picked up a stick threw it at the wall and nothing happened. Then mr.meow said bak off dude this is my stick and the stick broke into too. Thats when this map comes in, A PARTICLE OF WHRN THE STICK BROKE IN HALF!!! WOOT! *i mean BARK!!!

I have a question. How can anyone determine how good this map will be based on screenshots shown? I am not making any judgements the detail work looks very nice, but how can you tell how well it will play without knowing what the overall layout is? I'm just asking.

It has layout. He told me. Their are the structures, but their isn't any shelter in them, forcing everyone to go to the center for NON STOP ACTION!!! Sounds good too me.

wow, what where you smoking when you made that post? dennis's post is simply wanting to know about the layout, he says nothing about it looking bad, he acualy complements the details, witch are brought out better by the dynamic sun.

I talked with Lightning yesterday and he sayed that the Dynamic sun takes away specular and the sun causes a few errors in the map. So we are not going to have the sun. Plus the map looks better with a gloomy night sky. Well thanks anyway for helping Kirby. I truely appreciate it. Next week I hopefully will edit a top view screenshot showing off the level with weapon placements and a few other descriptions.

There were some flaws in it (a plasma rifle sitting right infront of where the sniper spawns isn't a bright idea).

Well nothing is final. You can make tweeks to it however you want. Things will be taken into consideration. And right now the starting weapons are shotgun and pistol.

Put Plasma Rifles at the bases, where it is now, no one will use it. They'll all be too focused on the sniper.
