arrr! a shock rifle! much <3 <3 <3
If you could make it just as useful as ut2004's that would be fantastic, im so mean with that weapon xD I particularly like the appearance of the shock ball, and its unfortunate that u probably cant make the shock combo on ce, or can u...?

Shoot the alt fire, and then the main fire.
One more thing, I would have liked respawning bipeds, making a new game is taking so long. -_-

Shock rifle looks awesome.
But I'm not understanding the fuel rod projectile. Is it bouncing up (in the picture) or what?

Yes, I think it does that in Halo 3, but I wouldn't know, I haven't used it in Halo 3.

I bounces up at some angles in Halo 3.

In Halo 3 it bounces when it just comes out of the gun and hasn't "engaged" itself yet, thus making close quarters combat difficult with the weapon.

If you do make another make, would it be possible to make the bipeds respawn without having to do a new game? Or even a code that spawns one?

No, just leave them be spartans, but have them walk around so we can test the shotgun and stuff on moving targets.

The 'shotgun' (or flak something I think) is really one of the only things I want to try, reminds me of the delayed buckshot on Snow_Grove.

Hey muki, you should put these in a map like hangem high or the tutorial map for real with good placements so we can play with them and see how fun they are to play with.

luckily for u, i can get those models / textures / sounds from UT2004 via the uteditor, including bipeds >:D
its been a long time since i did that and because i may have to disappear for a while, sometime soon im not sure if i could even extract much till then, but I do have my fav char available (Axon) i tried to rig him and almost did it, but im not really good for that xP

in fact im SO good *cough* i even made a red and blue texture lol, but the multi would probably do a better job of that than my textures.

It's not set for gameplay though. Ill see if its protected, if its not I will compile them into a map and try to make it really good for gameplay and post it here.

If ur up to it, you could basically copy the damage and adapt for halo, firing speed should probably also match too. I don't know the actual numerical damage but for example:

shock rifle primary takes 3 shots to kill
secondary takes 4
3 primary link gun shots for the kill etc

only catch with that is how to work out the damage for weapons like flak cannon and minigun, so what i did in the past was use a stopwatch and see how long it took to kill an enemy with it (at point blank)
If i could find that piece of paper in which i wrote the stats i could give them here

Rig the model, give it to HDoan maybe, he offered. At least, that's one thing you have to do, there might be more stuff to do, add the Halo animations maybe.
Edit: Also, you inspired me to download UT2004, so I am :Ð

ah, i did not realise u weren't going for the UT replica approach
well for 1, i may have a few recommendations, for the love of god at least make the bio rifle more useful or something, cos in ut2004, it was pretty much a joke xD
dont make the UT2004 assault rifle have the same accuracy as halo 1s *cough* you know what i mean *cough* :D

oh and is the shock ball like a small explosion in this map?

hehe, yea thats right, forgot that in halo we are almost half the running speed, not to mention we dont have that BS dodge / wall jumping, i remember i went x2 speed while wall jumping across the map without fail, sooo bs, especially when ur trying to hit them while doing it

Also beware that force does not always translate to clients very well, particularly when u add more force than a frag nade's
