I suggest adding in a few more details. It looks pretty low polygon right now. You also need to fix your smoothing errors. Besides that, it looks like an awesome model.

Its 2.2k polys right now and I don't need to add anymore details because it can be textured. I just need to fix edge errors and smoothing

I'm by no means a modeler, but it looks like theres some poly wastage. other then that it looks pretty good.

I fixed most of the smoothing by using groups instead of rushing with a smooth map. and I fixed some things I missed when modeling. Hdoan if H3t wants to use it I'll trade you guys for some content.

scale the pics down a bit. it looks nice, needs some smoothing, and how many TRIANGLES does it have. polies dont matter in game, triangles do. i see some triangulation problems and smoothing problems too. other than that, nice job especially for a first

also(i have h3 so i know this 4 sure)this is only if its supposed to be h3 looks.
when u showed the model of what it would look like when ur in gamplay or holding the br the gun is a little to high.(this is from ur 1st post)i may be wrong since i havnt played h3 in a while since my xbox360 broke but by what i remember that guns holding place is a little too high try to make it lower(ive never made my own weapon model before so i dont know if its possible, only edited weapons eg projectiles etc.
and when will it be released?
coz its still prety good and i might put it in some of my maps(depends on how good it is when its completed).

Not bad, but that's ripped?

Also, Creativity=magic and not boring. If people would make more original stuff rather than remake stuff that already exists, Halo CE would be one thousand times better.

i agree with simulacrum. Halo ce would be alot funner if we had all that custom stuff again. Like the old days. Another thing is that ppl are trying to keep making h3 stuff.. Dude, H3 to me was a diapointment almost. I own a copy of halo3 legendary edition.

It really wasn't a dissappointment, it just couldn't be very creative because of Halo 1 and 2.

Don't listen to the guys who tell you not to do what you want to aklass. You can model whatever you want. Also, directed at the guys who argued about halo 3s battle rifles, just because he models it after it, doesn't mean it has to play like it. Theres no use posting about gameplay flaws in a thread about models.

Woah. O_O That sounds like a lot of polygon wastage. The assault rifle I made only has 990 polygons. I'm not sure how many triangles though. I haven't checked. A wireframe of the model would help a lot too. I'd be able to show you what's wasted, what could go away, etc and I'm sure some of the more experienced modelers could help also. When i made my first weapon I had a lot of wasted polygons, but I soon learned how NOT to waist. :p

In other words, WIREFRAME PLOX!
