Before you say "n00b nobody likes mods!" "lol" and things like that please read. How would I be able to put my senerio file back in game and change the maps name. I have been at this site for a while, but I am finaly trying to mod. I am starting off as modding because It seems like a good place to start the basics. But anyway how would I go about doing this? I do not need a map making tut because I have 3. I just need to know how to mod an existing map. Do I need to drop some bitmaps in the map folder or what? But I would realy appriciate a modding tutorial. Oh and before you say "search is your friend" I think he hates me because I have not found a modding tut.

To specifically answer your question, I'm gonna assume you already have HEK, and ripped a scenario from a map. Mod the ripped tags with Guerilla, and place objects in the map with Sapien.

To compile it into another map, make a new folder under tags\levels\test\<your map's name>, copy/move the scenario to this newly created folder, and rename it <your map's name>.scenario. I think the name has to be "authenticated", in effect, by re-saving it with guerilla or sapien.

When you get to the tool part, and the errors start filling your screen and nightmares, post debug.txt from the CE folder

Plz don't post any more help, but thanks anyway. I figured it out right after I posted. I took a wild guess and got it right.

Don't even need to do that really... It helps to keep things organized, but it's not necessary for default map modding.
