well hi again im as full of questions as ever how do i get my campaign back? for custom edition

First you have to download a custom UI file that enables campaign. This is basically the main menu. you put it in your maps folder (make a new folder and put the original UI in that folder before you replace it).

Then you have to download ALL of the campaign missions (So in a way, Joshfighter is right. It is NOT in CE, but you can download them and they will work perfectly, better actually). You have the choice of the original missions or you can do modded versions, like CMT's version. CMT is going to be making a whole new version so you might want to download theirs for practice unless you want just the original.

CMT also has a custom UI. Basically you can fullfill all of your campaign needs by CMT made maps (mods...)

WARNING: CMT's version of the campaign is quite harder with noo-I mean-needler cannons along with the rapid-fire turrets that also have plasma torpedoes... as well as flood that has shields (except they nerfed the hunter's gun.)
Also, the shields they used in this version nerfs your game's performance when you are up close.
