The models can have open edges. The collision model would need fixed edges, but then again, on bipeds, they are normally boxes covering limbs and such.

if you cant model something without guaranteeing you'll have open edges, then chances are the model isn't going to look too good.

Metal Arms is an awosme game. It took me a long time to beat this game. But why was it not that popular. It's a great game. Doesn't seem liek it sold too well. I think it was as fun as halo.

never heard of Metal Arms? that is wierd! Metal Arms is a really cool game. too bad they haven't made a sequel to it (THAT would be awesome if they do). anyway, i thought that i was the only one who was thinking metal arms bipeds and such. if you want, i can make weapons 4 u if you send me copies of the finished biped models. ill even try to make vehicles. are you planning on making a few maps to?

The body is too big, arms look like sticks and legs seem too small.
The head is reasonable but i think you need some more reference pictures.

It looks better, however the head looks a bit dodgy and you need to add more detail in certain places.
Just keep modelling and occasionally try new things and you should get better.

well i added some detail to the legs and i cant make them line carving on him so that will have to be in the texture, and the head... i dont get why its "dodgey" but I cant resize it cause the vertices are close to each other and my mouse double clicking problems and wheel moving errors so i dont want to end up messing up my model or finding open edges on the resize of that head. trust me. i have a hard time making this model due to mouse problems and my parents refuse to buy me a new one and im not old enough for a job. added detail

Lots of work cleaning up after a boolean collision can be simple geometry, and for render (gbxmodel), you could hide the visable-to-the-outside faces and delete the ones you don't see
