i think people camping behind it meleeing people in the back when they come out would be a bigger problem.

teleporters could work but it would just look so wierd. People could get in a wart hog and keep shooting at the telepoints to try to get cheap kills. It could work but would just look odd.

It could work but would just look odd. If you used teleporters you would nto see him fly across the map. It would just be a chain reaction of teleporting in a second to one side of the link to the other. And you would make hte last tele higher off the ground so you can't block it. and if that on is blocked then they would just fall out right behing that one bc they cant get throught the one infront so tis would definatlt not work. It's nto that complicated to understand.

make it vehicles. script it so when they enter the volume trigger, it forces them into vehicleA, after a few feet or something it moves you to vehicleB (just so that your location isnt that messed up for people who join midway) and then after a few more seconds vehicleC, now the entertance animation in these vehicles is moving you, and then it lets you glide the last few feet so that if there is someone in a vehicle parked there, you hit and bounce off them.

Its very possible, I have it done, but it works way better if you enter it backwards, or would that kill it? Like you walk forward into it and get launched back the way you came from.
AND with teles what if someone jumped outa a shee in the middle of the teleporters Edited by __napalm__ on Jan 13, 2008 at 08:01 AM

It's nto that complicated to understand. You could do it if you had like perfect spaceing between the teles. It would just take alot of effort and changing things. I was talking about many teleporters spaced. It would work techincally it can be done in the halo ce engine. Just it would not look right as i have said before. It would not really look like flying but it would have a similar effect. And you are right this isn't hard to understand at all. Thanks for agreeing with me. It would also not be good for gameplay either. I am just saying techincally you could do it. Edited by Rm860 on Jan 13, 2008 at 05:32 PM
