Did you attatch and link the bases to the frame? I believe you got to do that but if i am wrong i am sure someone will quickly correct me.

when u say u exproted and everythinu mean u restructured ? and u have a couple options that u r not being clear with
a could make those part of bsp by placing then then deleating faces and creating new faces
or u could make the base a sealed model and link it to the origional skybox bsp
or make it scenery and add it in sapien as scenery. Edited by Maniac1000 on Dec 30, 2007 at 09:34 PM

did you actually attach them to the ground or just "place" them there? or did you link it to the frame or what?

For levels you have to have at least 2 objects, the frame and the actual level geometry. By frame, i mean it has to be a closed object with the name "frame" (not including quotes) and it has to have all the normals facing out (idk if this is a rule necessarily, but yeah w/e) and it can be any kind of primitive, like a box, pyramid, trapezoid, although im not sure about spheres cuz tool fusses about em. You link all other scene objects to the frame, not including objects for scale or things you dont want to be exported from the scene. Bases have to be attached, or you can use the "hover" method, which is less professional and polished. Remember that you have to check for errors to. So yeah hoped this helped.

well i know all except the part about the bases i have some questions: The base i downloaded has a sphere in it is this going to cause a problem? and Im useing the hover method and i was wandering how you attach the base raather then just have it hover?
P.s. If the hover method is better for noobs than you can just say that because im new at mdeling and have never added bases to my bsp wile modeling.... only as scenery!
