Is there any way to make the devcam move vertical? so far I can only get it to move around at the height I was last at.

do you need it to go straight up or just so you can move it to a different height?

If you just need something to move to a different height you could just use the flycam utility

flycam is terrible. it causes such lag and freezes everyone.

edt: oh yeah, and I also learned that t and g make the dev cam bank left and right.

I think the night time is caused by nuking this invisible biped in a corner.

I would look at the chicken-scratch (I mean, scripting) that does the night time transition and then I might actually know. I have yet to look at any scripting tutorials as of yet, but I am sure I will in the future.

switch_bsp 1 or something like that. pressing tab after typing switch was the big giveaway.
