when you look at the amount of maps on dennis' site, and you look at the amount of maps being played on HCE, theres a large difference...... so what I'm asking is this... post the maps you think should be getting more recognition than they are here.... like this:

Title:
Link:
Why you think its good:

i got this idea from the TMX forums (http://www.tm-exchange.com/), theres always lots of threads like this to help find new talent....

this way we won't get bored of the same maps, same servers, same players, same gametypes all day everyday on halo CE..

Title: Immure
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1278
Why: I believe its a good map because it feels like it came out by Bungie. It looks good along with the gameplay. Some say the wasp is too powerful and I agree with them, but beside that point this map is very fun in a 16 player game with any objective.

Also

Title: All H2CE Maps
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?Search=H2CE
Why: All of the H2CE Maps they made. Eventhough they were not exact they all were great. All had good gameplay and was fun when they first came out.

No, not grunt maps.

And this is a topic for UNDERRATED MAPS as in maps that are not seen enough.

Kiwi would like to see more of the map Covenant.

Title: Covenant
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1036
Why you think it's good: It is a map with all covenant weapons, and the atmosphere is really well done. Not to mention the map seems excited you're playing it.

The Battle Rifle actually shoots three-shot bursts, unlike the one that people play the most...for some stupid reason....http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1153

One map that I always thought had a cool theme was Avalanche Interstate. The leaning skyscrapers and the broken highway pieces made for a nice background. However the actual playing area seemed lacking.
A good idea, but not executed perfectly.

P.S. Why havent turf and terminal come out for ce... that would rly pleaze H2 fans like me XD

I was working on it but there are way to many errors for me to fix. The estimated number was ~3,400. I didnt model it, I used the converter on the site and got the bsp. (Don't ask for the .Map file)

wpitest1, delta ruins, beryl rescue, helix canyon, bridge crossing, sky twins, camtrack arena fx, cliffhanger, highway shooting, division falls, high low, red feather ranch, siege. valis and many more, i wish people would play these maps consistantly!!!!!!

Title: WPItest1
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1833
Why you think its good: It's a decent map provides a good amount of cover and it isn't unbalanced yet different for both teams.

Title: red feather ranch
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=619
Why you think its good: This map is a classic (at least to Kiwi). Nice custom bases, plenty of places to hide, and classic weapons (ignore the sword). Kiwi is curious as to how it could be in production for 2 years if it was released in 2004 and Halo on the PC was released in 2003.

Title: siege
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=558
Why you think its good: This map has two well designed bases, nice terrain design so snipers won't be able to pick off everyone with ease (usually), and nice sky. Kiwi had fun on this map with smaller games and would like, at least once, to play a large game here.

Kiwi will do the others later but all Kiwi can say is, lawls, highway shooting, no.

Fun Fact: People were paid to make Turf.

even tho i have a completely fixed model, there is no way in hell i am texturing it.

You have a fixed model? I have some Turf textures... maybe you can send it to me and I'll texture it.

Name: Chiller
Link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=1723
Reason why it's good: A nice close range map with 2-3 levels in it which can make things hectic, textures are nice, and is probably one of the most fun custom maps Kiwi has played (at least that are this small).

Come on people, you can add to this too! We should make a server with these maps.

Kiwi would be willing to play any of these maps with ya'll, except maybe for immure, and that's only cause of the wasp.

Title: Casualty Isle

Reason why you think it's good: It's sexy 'cause Massacre said so.

Grrrrrr, I hate KOD! We (P0W, ya know, Ganon, me, Kiwi, other people) were going to play that for one of our matches! But NOOOOO, only, I think, 2 KOD showed up...so Ganon took the win because it was a rematch game.
