I was playing on hugeass map when i was riding a pelican. The pilot was just hovering around in a hanger with like 6 people shooting at us. I kept yelling at him to go, and eventually he finally started moving. As we were leaving the hangar, I heard a nuke being dropped. I got ready for death. RIGHT AT THE EXACT MOMENT we left the hangar, the nuke hit. I watched the entire hangar blow up as i safely rode away in my peli.

And...?

ok...what I have I done..... oh yeah, when I was playing yoyorast, the game had just started, so I thought I'd get a quick kill, I quickly turned to the red team side and i somehow managed to get a killtacular with pistol! LOL!

im a really good sniper, i get like (min) 40 kills per game.

lol ok my turn since i play coldsnap and i dont like to camp snipe if you have played with mee you know but i used a jet to fly over to red side and 2 ls's came out one shot at me and i bailed out and i flew and landed on the high mountain *one taht you go to using the human warp on red base* and i landed and almost fell off and someone teleported there and i got him than he told the ls's where i was and the first ls was flying just under the peak i jumped off and threw c4 on him killing him and 2 other dudes that were in there and i hit the ground and i was running back to the middle of the map and the second ls saw me when i was on the cliffs and was close to the ground and shot a nuke and i jumped off of the cliff and the nuke exploded killing himself but then i got sniped :/

In a blood gulch game, I just barely got the flag out and got away.
I was on 1 bar, they couldn't kill me.

first of all, i LOVE to camp. i have my own secret spot in coldsnap. any 1 who tries to get flag WILL be hit and KILLED from there. but once somehow... a jet got by, i got in my hog, drove down the tunnel, and teleported to flag. i waited till he got out with flag and BANG! he dies. heres the wierd part. he did it again??? yah he did. same exact thing but this time he skydived out of a peli. i got a nice mid-air kill.

there are a ton of ways to get out with red bases flag blue base is the tough one you gotta run across the platform get falg *attract every enemy sniper in the game* and if you arent riddled with bullet holes you either gotta make escape in the hog *lol i dont think so* jet? pfffft no pelican ? dont have your back turned. ls? pffft die at the bridge with it lol

i know... but if ure blue all the ls come after u
red.... its better... only one mythos. the ls's are scarry if ure on wrong end of it.

I know blue flag is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get unless you got backup. The past couple times I went for the flag when I got out of my vehicle it just rolled off the cliff:(.

thats why you get a pelican to carry a hog and drop it off as soon as you get flag i also tell it to hold the enemy off while the flag man escapes thats what teamwork is lol when i get pelican i pick up and drop off and distract

Were you in the seat right next to the ramp? This always happenes to me when im in that seat.

man you wanna nice mythos kill try this ok im in a pelican mythos shooting like crazy and i bailed out*i was in a passenger seat with like 6 other and the pilot* i got out and lived the mythos shot hit the pelican killing a well killing all of them and i was right above the mythos and i through c4 on it a 10 second count on it and the guy who got flag was driving in a hog and i told him to keep going and the mythos was starting to move towards him and i said oh no you dont and pulled out rocket launch which for soem reason was my secondary and i shot like crazy and then the timer expired and i typed in goodbye as my last line and i died with the mythos lol moments like that make me glad i play halo ce and maps like coldsnap

During the beta tests of extinction, I was in a brute chase and was being chased by another one, I hit a wall while boosting and I went flying, friendly fire was off and I flew into Jaydans Scarab shot, I went flying and bounced off the enime long sword in mid air, and landed on the ground and lose the other brute ghost

One time I was piloting the Mythos and noticed a bunch of bright flashes on the snow. I have since learned that those are missile explosions - I have really low end graphics, lol. Once I started getting pegged by them I knew that it had to be a Longsword way up above in my blind spot so I got out to use the Mythos as a shield and hide underneath it. It apparently worked since he stopped firing. I wait a bit and then get back in and see him diving for Blue flag. I do some quick turning to line up and then shot him, blowing up the LS into several pieces. If he had fired a nuke or noticed that he didn't get the kill it would have been all over. Only time getting out saved my life, lol.

Another time, piloting the mythos again, just as I come out of the blue garage I start getting plinked by missile fire. With no where else to go, I back up as far as I can into the garage exit. Then all of a sudden the Longsword is swooping down right in front of me and lets off a nuke at point blank! The funny part is that he died and I lived. The snow was green for a few seconds afterwards which was kinda neat. No clue why I lived with a nuke exploding in my face, though I must admit that I never saw the actual explosion so it must have hit the mountain just above the exit.

I used to think that Red team had the advantage but now I think that its a lot more even then initially thought. Red base is really boring and blues in Longswords coming through the top of red base really suck.

Both of those stories happened sometime last week. If you couldn't tell, I prefer piloting the mythos over a longsword, lol. (Though shooting down the tiny jets is a pain in the butt). I've had some interesting Longsword kills by using the mythos at long range, my sniper rifle (which takes for ever, lol), and the Gauss hog turret (took 30 seconds of continuous fire). You can see the engine flare if you watch for it at night, though during the day you will often spot a black shape in the distance.

I used to think that red team had the advantage but longswords are worthless without a competent gunner. Also, there is the fact that they're easier to shoot down then I originally thought. A competent pilot is also a must. Far too many people fly low to the ground when the mythos is out... I prefer being extremely high to avoid being seen or shot down by a mythos nuke.

I pub as Geiss sometimes. Do you play as TrinityWolf because I think I've seen you in game a few times.



All public servers are listed by gamespy so what you see is what you get. Try turning the player content filter on and make sure the padlock and the server box icons in the upper left of the server list are not checked so you can see all the games running.

Halo PC (Combat Evolved) and Halo CE (Custom Edition) have different netcode. You can not play on the server for the other. Meaning you can not run Halo CE and play on a Halo PC server.

Not to mention that they also would be trying to use the same ports I believe. So, ya, not compatible.

My turn! On a dedicated server for CMT Snowgrove, blue team was crushing us reds with their hog. I had a Assault Carbine, and the hog was driving by. I caculated the right moment, threw a gernade, blew the hog sky high. Then the guy tried to escape, but I shot him down.

H3 pwnage? I put a tripmine on the bottom of a non-occupied hog, got in, moved maybe a foot... And BOOM, went about 40-50 feet high. In the hog. Dead, but completely pwned myself, and completely scared my friend who was about 10 feet away watching... I still have the video on my harddrive... Just can't watch it...

I never tried to do something like that in Halo. Did in Condition Zero, never in Halo. Anyways, nice kill.
