i love that map! Mario 64 FTW! but uhhh ya, open edges... they suck. if your in 3ds under modifiers go to STL check. it will show you where the errors are. like delete the faces and create some more and make sure thet are all connected to the right place and are closed off. if the edge of it isnt closed off then you will get open edges.

well thats really not good is it? well then i suggest you learn how to model better and redo it. for one thing though, look at the bottom of your map and see if there is a bottom to it. if not create a new polygon there.

this is too hard..... can't I just use the modifier "cap holes"????

u can for sure in editible poly use select border tool select the border on botom edge then on right there is a cap button ( think its called cap), makes poly.probly the exact same process as what u said, but what u said probly caps all holes on selected object i would guess.

Wow,That looks really close to it.There just a few missing stuff. And also Its alot taller. But yeah. Maybe you should make a mario mod.

Did you by chance import this from the game, if you did, id really like to know how to get that N64 extractor plugin working.

i doubt that he used an N64 extractor, but he couldve. anyway i think it looks great, what about that tower on top of the place? cant forget that

you should try to make it look better. keep the same textures but add stuff like detail maps and bump maps because i doubt mario 64 had that good of textures. but using halo's superior game engine you could really make it look good.

why do you think it's a gmax model???? I used 3ds max.

It looks that way because most people using 3ds Max don't take a screenshot of the perspective window, they just take a render and save it. (F9 for a quick render, and then hit the little floppy disc button)
