### base_collision.jms
### ERROR edge #0 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #2 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #8 is open (red).
### ERROR edge #54 is open (red).
### ERROR failed to build collision geometry.
### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.
### ERROR couldn't import permutation 'base_collision' of node 'frame'.
### ERROR failed to import collision model 'base\base'.

-.- i dont know how to fix this once i import the wrl, and in the wrl there are all colors! pink, red, blue, green....

That wasn't very helpful Arbiter, even if thats what people usually do when they get those errors . . .

You used chimp? You may not have exported it correctly, chimp sometimes gives 4 random open edges even if theres none there.

I never knew that before. :/ If they show up in a tool error message though that would mean they were really there though, right?

Searched for similiar error messages and turned up this piece of advice for open edges by H Guru.

No, if they show up in a tool error, that means they're there in the jms, not necessarily in the max file...

For example, his error includes Edge #0, which doesn't exist, meaning, its chimp.

well i re-exported it, and heres the error now with no edge 0

Ok so now its at least exported correctly. At those edges, 3 or more faces are sharing the same edge, so you have to import the wrl and find the red parts.... And fix that.

Make it so there isn't 3 faces on the same edge....
