do i need to create an item_collection along with editing the globals? I don't know how to get them in my scenario please help me and tell me how.

for wepons tags ive used they all came with item collections allerdy.

but these aren't even weapons they are equipment they are grenades you have to edit globals.globals to even use them. I am not sure if i even need an item collection

item collection is only if you want ammo around the map that respawns

1: Orange Gecko (a.k.a Kirby422, the maker of the shield nade tags) just told you what you asked for 2: If you want them around in your map like frag grenades and plasma grenades, fix the existing item collection tag. Its in there, I've used them, I've trapped my super grunt AI in them... (check my xfire screenys if you dont believe me... im killerelf12) For some reason, kirby decided to have the item collection pointing to a snowball gun... Nice job there Kirby! Its the itemcollection that points to the snowballgun? I was wondering where that error came from.  I got around it by placing frags in sapien and then following Kirby's instructions on editing the globals to have frags point to the shield nade tags, which worked like a charm. The only other tag editing required is for changing the default shader but Kirby's readme tells you how.

No, because there are no shield nades in H3.... Teh ones in H3 are deployable equipment, larger, and can be walked through.

Ya, the tool errors said it was christmas/snowballgun.something that was missing so I suspected it was from another map you were working on. Since the snowballgun is so awesome it would be cool if you could finish that map.
