alrighty i got a bit of a problem my fellow community. With weapons you can right click the original .weapon tag and then right click "copy" and then "paste" and rename the copy to create a whole new weapon tag to work with. However when i do this with a vehicle the ghost actually it still is acting like a copy. So maybe vehicles are just like this but i want some help.

I am making 4 skins for the ghost so i can work on a special project i got an idea for. However i am not saying what it is yet cause i am not really sure if it will work or not.

but i need to have 5 different .vehicle tags (including the original) that all can be skinned different and put into one single map. However just copy and pasteing and renaming is not working at all.

so is there a way to get this to work without creating a new .vehicle tag in gurilla. If i have to make a new .vehicle it will take forever and a day.

so peps what should i do? i know you can have different skins of the same vehicle in one map.

EDIT: nevermind i was doing something stupid i got it going now

could u open the .vehicle in guerilla and then save as?

You could do that but renaming the files manually in windows explorer should work fine too as long as you remember which one is which.

well like i said above i edited my first post to say nevermind.

but i had to make renamed copies of the hull shader and the gbx models. so i have like 4 different renamed gbx models of the ghost. i just for some reason did not put two and two together about the gbx models. lol i feel nooby after making a dumb mistake.

i just hit a huge snag with my idea...stupid gmax. my textures keep getting cut off wierd and my textures just won't show in gmax even after i set correct material ID's and uvw map.
