Greetings,

I have very recently started modding with the Halo MCC mod tools (more specifically Guerilla / Sapien for CE) and am currently experience a problem.

My goal was to add a couple of shade turret arround in the b30 Campaign level (which i did) expecting they would be used by the grunts.

In order to accomplish it i have created a command list named "grunt_enter_turret" with the following command properties: vehicle \ any seat \ distance 0. Once done i go under the encounters, select one of the grunt squads, go under the starting location and put the command list i created for the "grunt_enter_turret" while making sure the actor type match the squad actor (grunt minor plasma pistol). Finally, i save the map and compile it before testing the result.

It did not work, the grunts do not use the shade turrets.

I was expecting to have forgot something so i re-open Sapien and while the command list i created for the turret (the "grunt_enter_turret") still exist it no longer have the vehicle properties i have set before. Instead the command is shown as "pause". So i put back the vehicle properties, make sure to save and then relaunch Sapien to see if the command properties remained the same. Its back to pause!!!

I dont know what to do at this point. Is anyone able to provide some insight on how to make the grunts use the turrets?

Try and copy an instance where AI actually use a specific vehicle...ie...grunts using/driving a ghost in a particular map and "mirror" those instances and commands used to your map/situation
