Now, I'm really interested to see this D30 map, after all, they are called CMT for a reason.
I hope there won't be any crappy voice actors in it, there are plenty of ruined custom maps for a great number of games just because of the voice acting.

Rest assured when it comes to voice acting, we are willing to take the time we need to get non cringe worthy voice actors.

i remembered the first time i talked to arby criticizing his spreading of that stuff

he started going all off on criticizing the porn i watched, even though i never even mentioned porn, so he's flatout shown me that when ponies come up that that's what his mind goes to.

but yeah, good luck with the uh, CMT stuff guys, cool work. i show screenshots and explain them to people that are unaware of this stuff and they're amazed that this is still halo 1, albeit with engine changes

If I may start a serious conversation I personally think that only May, Brandon, captain and the scientist were the only ones with decent voice acting. (Which made sense) Anyone else in the campaign sounds absolutely horrible whether it be below even remotely acceptable voice quality or acting. Not to mention that May still sounds like the male spartan (In death) we all know and love.

I thought it was all bad. While those three may have been the best they were also the ones who spoke most; they had to be the best.

May's voice in itself was acceptable, but I felt all her lines lacked emotional depth. What a lot of people don't realize is that voice-acting is just that. It's not enough to have a good voice, you quite literally need to know how to act. Effectively putting emotion/inflection into your lines adds depth and believability.

The scientist was alright, especially for a minor character. I think part of the problem was that lumoris voice actors were using different microphones, and it showed. It felt like the scientist's audio was too quiet.



My best advice is remember that this is the internet! It's full of cheap/young/broke voice actors who are actually good! Don't just try recruiting people/websites you know, really get out there!

I agree, lawson's voice was da bomb. Kadar was a little flat tho.

Is it bad to think that I thought the best voice actor in Lumoria was the marine? We had a VA who could pretty much replicate the original marine dialog. Then followed up by Dennis ofc.

Polls were rigged, Lawson had one point where it sounded like you were afraid to actually yell because that was a whisper and storm was the best voice actor, hands down.

I have to agree, I remember hearing a line or two and was like "why wasn't this a main character?!"

Why wasn't Nicolas cage the main character! You should totally think about this Higuy because it could work to some extent. Just imagine May looking over the bodies of the ruined covenant army then removing her helmet only to reveal the man himself.
