Iffy was wrong to classify this as a "brute weapon". It's a covenant grenade that it exclusively used by the Brutes. Or at least that's how it was discussed when the idea came up. There was no intention for this to be a piece of "brute tech"

Honestly, it works very well during gameplay. Don't let the video fool you.

looks awesome, personally i think the power-drain in h3 had too greater radius, but the radius of that nade looks great. does it stick to, and demobilise, vehicles? in the emp nade video there were 4 grenade icons, im guessing frag, sticky, the third was emp, but what was the last one? spike nade? It currently doesn't disable vehicles, or stick, but those are both things we can experiment with. The 4th grenade, we had a lot of ideas, from auto turrets to proximity grenades, but we're going to try to use OS to do something new, very similar in fact to one of the cut pieces of H3 equipment.

I also have a question will you guys be lowering the amount of damage you take from being rammed by a vehicle or will it still be a instant kill when being hit by the slightest touch?because it would make it harder to highjack if you died instantly from being rammed.I think the damage last time I checked was 10000. Edited by Spark on Dec 21, 2012 at 02:58 AM I think (not programmer speaking here) that since the vehicle speed is binary (you cannot adjust the going speed) the damage counts as when you are moving the fastest you can. Not sure, but common sense dictates that that would be it.

Right click, open image in new tab. You can clearly see that I've circled 5 different grenade symbols and labeled them each by number in bright red. I'm not talking about the number of grenades, i'm talking about the number of options to choose from, bro.

Wow, just wow guys, this is why I don't even try to post much on here or upload anything. Because when I do try something you just throw it out the window, I tried to make the design work with the rest of the HUD while still making it work with how it was intended to work.

Haters gun hate, bro. Not much you can do about it. If you and your team enjoys it (Btw, I ALSO think it looks good, and I am not alone) then that's all that matters right? Are you referring to CMT throwing your design out the window or critics criticising your design? Imo the HUD looks awesome except for the grenade count. The number shouldn't be in a circle of it's own. It should just be left as a number on the overall background of the grenade selection.

I am happy to announce that based on the latest tests conducted, SPV3A10 gets similar FPS to that of of SPV2's A10 public beta, if the player disables OS graphics in their shortcut. The FPS is likely to only improve, as we continue to optimize our content.

The most optmizing I bet CMT will ever do is just downsize their textures....
edit: I meant to actually say, what arte you doing to the content that is optmizing it? Can we get some real examples of what you have been doing that have caused massive optmization. Edited by il Duce Primo on Dec 23, 2012 at 07:56 PM
