Remastered? Why would the tracks need to be remastered; they were produced recently in a modern environment. Is there even a remastered release?

this will probably sound stupid but i was playin spv2 last night and was thinking how cool a jetpack would be, even if u had to put kill timers or something at high up points so you cant spam your way through missions. I know its been thought of, but i dunno just seems like a very cool idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that its the flood juggernaut. Was supposed to be implemented in Halo 2, but wasn't for some reason- CMT thought it might make the campaign a little bit more lively, but it was scrapped because of the difficulty of implementation.

Wrong. That model right their i think is custom made. It's not the juggernaut.

That flood character is custom designed and made by Dane. It is not from the Halo universe.

Anyone who was following the old SPV2 thread should remember the community wide jaw drop when that was posted, then the tears of a million orphans when it was scrapped.

It was never scrapped, it was never intended to be put in game or used. It won't be in SPV3.

We talked to CAD early on when we reformed and he said he was willing to work with us if he had time to get back into CE. CAD was one of the original members of C(ustom)MT.

You credit him to much, our backpack scripts work totally different than his do, and the script extractor was done by Shadowspartan, with the majority of the tools done by him and CV. CAD for the most part puts the content they extract in game. Him "showing off" has done nothing to make your stuff better, good content is done. Shadowspartan and CV do not get the credit they deserve for what you all look up to CAD for, he would not have been able to do a 1/10th of what he's done without those two.

The flood form is something along those lines.

Cool, that's what I thought, but judging by the video (the part with the sniper zooming) it made it kind of seem like they made it exclusive to the scope (replacing night vision).

From what I can tell Dano's model is supposed to be a flying carrier, if this is indeed the case then it is very possible to get it ingame. It would use a mixture of the tagging of the sentinel/drone + that of a flood carrier. And of course it would need some decent animations :)

Definitely not impossible.

with opensauce. objects_distance_to_object. check if it (or it's tentacle) beside something it can eat, attach it to the tentacle, play eat animation, kill or destroy the eaten item. If beside a non-edible item, still attach it to the tentacle, enter a custom seat for carrying things, set it to berserk (set berserk settings to try and ram player) when within a certain range of the player, make it drop the item, then 'object_data_set_real transitional_velocity <x/y/z> (random_range <numberz>)' to hurtle the non-edible item at them.

Lag doesn't like massive amounts of scripts making things that should work through tags, plus it would never look like something natural. Dano's creature isn't going in. End of Discussion.

I have the impression that goldkilla wanted to ask if Dano would release the assets themselves, not to get them into SPv3. So he could tinker with it on his own, I know he loves flood stuff for example :)
