Well this is how the texturing turned out :3. 98% completed in terms of unwrapping. Just gotta figure out how to straighten uv selection like you can in Max 2012. Edited by Cheddars on Jan 6, 2014 at 11:36 PM

I'd totally be down to include the winner to replace the Halo ring for SPV3 and the next UUI.

I personally don't give a hoot about credit. Someone claiming your work as their own, though, is a different matter.

Claiming them as their own? Uhh I'm not sure about that, I'm fairly certain they never took credit for the level design itself... They did put the work into making the BSP/tags/shader work etc.
Just because someone recreates a map from a later Halo game shouldn't mean that they deserve NO credit for their work. Not everyone has the skill/time/motivation required to design fun maps with good replay value, so it's understandable that they produce a map which is already proven to have these elements.
Should people stop doing remakes? There's still a few maps from later games that I'd love to see in CE. Edited by stunt_man on Jan 8, 2014 at 11:06 AM

It was a joke guys, gosh I appreciate any type of work that is put into Halo CE. Even if the assets are remakes, the artist put time into their work. The same goes for rips, except I don't like to call them 'artist'. Rips require work regardless. As long as the author makes the ripped asset look awesome, then I don't have a problem. Jesse is a great artist, no doubt. If anything, I appreciate his work and his motivation to implement Halo 3 into halo CE. EDIT:I didn't spend time setting up render settings, I just wanted to show you guys some progression. Edited by PopeAK49 on Jan 8, 2014 at 09:32 PM

My question is... Is it sealed? If it is, I look forward to seeing it ingame. If it's not, make it so! :D

Of course it's sealed. There might be a few open edges that I might miss, but tool will point those out for me. It's all part of my spline and bridge modeling technique.

Looks great Pope, not enough maps use the Autumn's texture palette (Chiron, Wizard and Boarding Action are the only ones that come to mind ATM). I like your take on the architecture as well, can't wait to see it ingame :D

thoroughly enjoying the architecture stylings. Feels very clean and open. Though, this "Bridge and Spline" technique you speak of, you must enlighten us on this. A Tutorial perhaps?

I just have to find the time to do it. Perhaps I'll schedule doing a video once a week to help you guys out.
