Been working on Foundry's hangar lights.







FYI, This is NOT the Foundry model I've been working on in max, it's still going through the in-gaming process, this is the base model H3MT uses. (technically the same model, but we've since re-uv'd and edited it.

Deehunter never modeled Foundry. That was modelled by arbiter (or arbiter1337?). If you ask around you can find out. :)
I believe the textures and UV and ingame were done by HDoan.

Btw, the above only applies if you are using the H3MT Foundry. :) Hth

i had a sick idea for a theme for a map but i cant do the layout justice. i decided i would just come here and try to bounce ideas off people and see where it leads. hopefully i can get a solid layout to start modeling with soon. any suggestions??

HDoanuts did alot of work for H3MT, but most things seemed like they could have been a bit better.

A little nit-pick/suggestion, don't draw it on a diagonal! It's make your life harder!!!

I still have the old bsp models for some h3mt maps.
The foundry model isn't all that bad. Also it was me and arbiter that both modeled it. Arbiter mostly since I was unwrapping stuff for the most part.

The game engine can't handle newer stuff. Newer games have optimised memory usage, so you can have all the cool stuff with less GPU/RAM usage. (Processor does hardly anything for gaming. Tbh, it doesn't matter.)

you should remake the animation, try to find the tangent button next to the key buttons, it shows a curve with 2 tangents, and select the straight one.
This will make the movement straight instead of slowing down at the end like it does now...
Also making it as a vehicle would be cool to have dynamic shadows, it would look perfect if you compute the lightmaps with aether

I would go seek Chains on criticism. When I got my tablet, I had the same issue as you with it being vague and blurry. Chains will tell you that though it does look nice to an extent, it could be a LOT better and a lot CLEANER. A nice start though and I still greatly recommend going to seek Chains for more work. He is Crackers at Modacity.

Painting are rarely super accurate. And the tablet with no screen is not the most pratical ever, I think this looks very good

Yeah its a bit blurry, more so on one side. I did a pretty solid sketch before I added color, which is when it got blurry. I've been doing some more speed paintings, trying to make the edges more defined and show layers easier.
